Pets WelcomeFor a slight fee: Your manageable pets are welcome, on your leash, in your immediate control. Rotwielers, Pit Bulls, or even variations of those breeds are not welcome; per insurance liability demands, regardless of their temperment. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, and any and all damage caused by their pets. Pets are expected to not disrupt other campers. Doggie and Kitty bags will normally be available at our office. We are Pet Lovers, but we also know, not everybody is, and we must, and will respect others. Concession StandOur full service concession stand will be stocked with breakfast foods, to include your morning coffee. Your quick and easy lunch and makeshift dinner needs. We will include Pizza’s cotton Candy, Pop corn, and Ice cream. Hiking TrailsWe are only 1.5 miles from one of Michigan’s few northern Hiking only trails. Hike, Walk or ride to the trials. Hike till your hearts content, or stay on our property for those short hikes. Cottage RentalsUnder Construction Bicycle RentalsBicycle Rentals available to include Mountain bikes. There are miles of areas to ride other than just our campground for the energetic folks. Paintball FieldsWe are setting up 2 woods ball courts. One will be about 3 acres, that’s appx 100 yards wide and 150 yards long, or 3 foot ball fields worth. Another paint ball field of about 6 or 7 acres, which includes specially challenging soup bowls, for added enjoyment/bragging rights. Full RV Hook UpsWe are developing a new section specifically for RV’s with full hookups. Lightly wooded for your pleasure and your Rig’s safety. Arrangements are being made for RV Repair services as needed. We hope to be including a trout pond stocked with pan fish, trout and bass for your added pleasure. Don’t forget, we are located on a lake with swimming, and great pan fishing, ice fishing, and bass fishing. With a short drive to over 40 other lakes for your pleasure, to include 3 prime trout, steelhead and salmon rivers, all in our immediate vicinity. Deer, Turkey and Bear hunting are spectacular too, not forgetting the great small game hunting and morel mushroom hunting in the immediate area. All this, and we’ll keep you plowed out for your winter skiing at the nearby ski resorts, and for your snowmobiling and other winter sports intertainment, to include nice sliding hills for the agile and young at heart. Propane Filling StationWe will be able to refill most tanks on site, when you need it, for our guests and others when needed. Our pricing will be as reasonable as possible. Snowmobiling is accessable from our Resort, ORV’ing, is right down the road a very short distance (we are working on making it fully accessable from our resort). We keep our Resort plowed during the winter months making it accessable, keeping it usable for your 5th wheel, motor home, or from our cottage or future cabins. SwimmingRight here at our resort, Private Access to the Private Putman Lake. An Electric motor only lake, with great fishing in it too. Buggy RidesOur Primary Camp Utility Vehicle is Mable a half Belgium, half Standard Bred horse with her 4 wheeled buggy in tow. Mable is a large, graceful, gentle horse, and her foul (due april 2008) will probably be accompanying her. You are welcome to jump in and ride with us throughout the campground as we drive back and forth between the office, the lake and the campsites. Hay Rides are possible with advanced reservations. Video Game RoomWe are installing a Video Game Room for those young at heart adults for those rainy days. We expect they will be complete with the newest Nintindo Wii. Boat RentalsWe have Row Boats, and Boats with Elecrtric Trolling Motors for rent. Other boat rentals may become available for fishing any of the other numerous lakes in the immediate area.
